The Dallas Center-Grimes PTO is comprised of parents and teachers from all three of the district’s elementary schools. Throughout the year, we work to support our students, families and staff through a variety of programs. Some of our activities include:

· Fundraising so that we can help our schools purchase materials and experiences they might not otherwise have.
· Providing every elementary teacher in the district with a $100 reimbursement to help offset the cost of their classroom materials.
· Planning social events for families, such as family movie night, spirit night, and the Reading Rocks Carnival
· Staffing Scholastic Book Fairs during conferences.
· Preparing a meal for teachers three times each year, once each at fall and spring conferences and once during Teacher Appreciation Week.
·  Collecting Box Tops to raise extra funds for our schools.
·  Offering DC-G clothing designed specifically for elementary students to help build school spirit.
·  Offering families the opportunity to buy school supply kits so they’ll be ready at school when kids arrive.
