(GloFA Run--note from organizer Sara Bridie)
I need some help organizing the GLOFA race now.
I need everyone to keep milk jugs and water bottles for the race. I am going to try to put glowsticks in them to illuminate the course. Rinse them out and save them please. I will ask for them in early April or bring them to the FOFA meeting on April 5th.
I need someone to coordinate getting donations of water and food. All you have to do is approach a business or two and ask for water donations and some sort of donation of food. Granolabars, bananas, just something to eat. Anyone?
PLEASE PROMOTE THIS EVENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND TALK IT UP TO YOUR FRIENDS. IT IS A NEW EVENT SO THE COMMUNITY DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. SHARE IT.
I PUT IT ON MY NEIGHBORHOOD FACEBOOK PAGE RECENTLY. TALK IT UP with your friends, family, co-workers, etc.
I challenge each of you to tell 15 different people about it. Make sure to tell them the registration form is on the FOFA page of the school website.
I REALLY WOULD PREFER TO GET AS MANY PEOPLE REGISTERED PRIOR TO THE SHIRT DEADLINE OF March 30th.
Sneak peak at FOFA Night Saturday, April 2nd! You can still buy observer tickets for $5 at the door.
