Requests for Proposals (RFP) or Requests for Quotes (RFQ)

A request for proposal (RFP) or request for quote (RFQ) is a solicitation made through a bidding process to procure a service or valuable asset. Notice to VendorsRFP Pagining/Intercom, Safey and Classroom Audio Systems

The Dallas Center – Grimes Community School District (DCG) is accepting bids to upgrade our paging/intercom, safety, and classroom audio systems at Dallas Center and North Ridge Elementary schools during the summer of 2026.  Specifically, DCG is interested in cost effective proposals that maximize interoperability with the Audio Enhancement Epic Systems currently deployed in our secondary buildings.  A list of anticipated materials and preliminary design maps are included as part of this RFP. 

Proposals will be accepted either electronically or in writing until 12:00 PM CST on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.  Interested parties may submit proposals via email to Steven Hopper, Director of Technology, at steven.hopper@dcgschools.com or via delivery to our administration offices located at 2405 W 1st Street, Grimes, IA 50111.  Late submissions will not be accepted.  All bid details are attached to this notice to vendors.  The district reserves the right to accept any proposals in full,  in part, or cancel this request and reject all offers. All inquiries regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing via email.

Notice to Vendors – Vending and Beverage Pouring Rights

The Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District (“District”) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide exclusive vending and beverage pouring rights, including related equipment, service, and sponsorship support, across District facilities.

The District encourages all prospective vendors to carefully review this Request for Proposal (RFP).
