Details: Good Afternoon! Dallas County Extension and Outreach is promoting our upcoming Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth 10-14.I have attached a flyer with dates and registration information for the series being offered starting in October. Please share this opportunity on your webpage, social media, or by reaching out to individuals that you feel would be interested. Registration is required to attend. Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth 10-14 can help families learn to manage emotions, set goals, avoid peer pressure, make better decisions, and create better relationships. Families will learn how to show love while setting limits, how to listen to their child, and how to help family members show appreciation to each other. An evidence-based parent, youth, and family skills-building curriculum that: Prevents adolescent substance abuse and other behavior problems Strengthens parent/youth communication skills Increases academic success in youth This program is funded by Dallas County Extension and Outreach for ALL participants.
