About
Welcome to Dallas Center-Grimes Middle School! DCG Middle School opened in 2004 and is the only middle school in Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District. We are located at 1400 Vine Street in Dallas Center, Iowa. DCG Middle School is home to approximately 450 students.
At DCG Middle School, we place student learning and helping each child take charge of their future as our primary focus. With our strong emphasis on meeting the needs of all students through differentiated instruction and research-based practices.
Our District Model
DCG Middle School staff are dedicated to professional growth & development as they regularly collaborate in professional learning communities (PLC’s), aimed at continuous improvement in the areas of teaching and learning. Student Supports
Our school offers additional support services in the areas of Special Education, Extended Learning Program, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and American Sign Language (ASL).
Our students are finding out who they are and who they want to become. It’s an amazing journey and we do our best to provide them an environment where they can thrive. It’s a great day at the World’s Greatest Middle School!
