Rockets are flying through the air at Oak View! Science students designed rockets and as a class they will work through a testing process. For example, one group of students is testing the number of fins attached to individual rockets. All of the rockets in their group are similar, except for the fins. Students are now able to determine if the number of fins influences the overall hang time of the rocket. Throughout this unit, students are working on measurement, unit conversion, experimental design and scientific writing.
