The Dallas Center-Grimes High School ESports team is getting ready for the state playoffs this weekend in West Des Moines. DCG will have two teams competing for the state’s top prize.
DCG’s Rocket League team (Jaycob Robinson, Jesse Ramirez, Austin Willey, Jack Every, Michael Cowell and Brendan Fitzhugh) will compete on Friday, March 3.
Our Overwatch2 team (Jesse Ramirez, Ajon Ervin, Jacob Dotson, Austin Willey, Ben Maggard and Konner Besch) will begin their state competition on Saturday, March 4.
This has been a record-breaking season for DCG ESports. They made the state playoffs for the very first time and are capping off their year by sending two teams to state! This program is on the rise in our district and we are so proud of all their hard work.
