On Tuesday, October 28, DCG CSD held two important events in the DCG High School Auditorium.
The 2025 DCG School Board Candidate Forum featured all four candidates running for a director position on the DCG School Board. Nick Fiala is running unopposed for the Director District #1 seat. Monica Malmberg is running unopposed for the Director District #2 seat. Julie Quandt and Will Rubel are running for the At-Large Director opening. All four candidates participated in the School Board Candidate Forum. The event can be watched below.
The second event was the DCG CSD 2025 Bond Referendum Town Hall. Featured guests included: DCG Superintendent Dr. Scott Blum, DCG Associate Superintendent Dr. Greg Carenza, DCG High School Principal Matthew Blackmore, DCG Business Manager Michelle Wearmouth, DCG Activities Director Madison Melchert, Travis Donahue and Sean Shatava from the DCG Operations department, and project leaders from OPN Architects.
