
The Iowa Department of Education recently released its 2026 Postsecondary Readiness Reports for all public school districts in Iowa.
The Postsecondary Readiness Reports include information on enrollment in colleges and universities, participation in registered apprenticeships and Iowa community college noncredit coursework, and postsecondary retention and completion rates for students who graduated from public high schools in Iowa.
Dallas Center-Grimes CSD earned a score of 75.3% in the 2026 report, approximately 14% higher than the state average of 61.6%.
Explaining Our Score
75.3% of the graduates from DCG High School in this reporting year (Class of 2022, Class of 2023, Class of 2024) enrolled in postsecondary education or training within one year of high school graduation. The DCG Class of 2024 leads the way with a score of 78.5%. This is our district’s highest score since the Class of 2016, which received an 85.1%.
