It’s been an exciting start to the school year on DCG’s playgrounds.
The new facilities at Dallas Center Elementary, Heritage Elementary, North Ridge Elementary and Dallas Center-Grimes Middle School opened on Monday.
Due to weather, students at South Prairie Elementary had to wait a few extra days before giving their new equipment a try. South Prairie’s playground officially opened on Friday, August 28. Here’s a look at the special announcement.
The playgrounds are also available for community use at night and on the weekend. We ask that you please clean up trash and bottles as you enter and leave our facilities. We also ask that no electronic scooters and e-bikes are used on the turf. By following a few simple rules, we are able to keep these incredible new facilities open to the public.
