Iowa E Ride Experience Survey: $10 for Parent & $10 for Child

Details: Researchers at the University of Iowa invite Iowa children and their parents/guardians to participate in the Iowa E Ride Experience Survey. This study focuses on electric micromobility (e-micromobility) devices, including e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards, hoverboards, Onewheels, e-moto, and similar electric-powered devices commonly used for transportation or recreation. This study includes two short online surveys: • One completed by a child (ages 10–17) • One completed by a parent or legal guardian Each survey takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes. When both surveys are completed, the child and parent will each receive $10. The child survey asks about: • Use of e micromobility devices • How and where children ride • Family rules and expectations • Crashes and near-miss incidents Who can participate • Child is 10–17, lives in Iowa, uses an e micromobility device at least once per week, and is fluent in English • Adult is the child’s legal guardian, lives in Iowa, and is fluent in English • One child and one adult per household Participation is voluntary and confidential. Children’s responses are not shared with parents. Interested?
