Wednesday, September 23, is Local Iowa Food Day, and we are excited to celebrate at Dallas Center-Grimes CSD. In addition to serving local food in our cafeterias, we wanted to share a quick and easy way of taking produce from area farms and create a delicious dish in your kitchen!
DCG’s Culinary Educator Jozsef Grull recently traveled to Hilltop Farms in Dallas Center to pick his ingredients for Pico de Gallo, which was later served in the DCG High School Cafeteria. Here’s a look at his visit.
