DCG Theater is excited to perform “Our Town” as the 2026 Spring Play. Our Town presents the small town of Grover’s Corners in three acts. Narrated by a stage manager, the play depicts the simple daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die. Showtimes are available May 1-3. The performance will be held inside the auditorium at DCG High School

There’s a special connection to George Gibbs’s role in our town. In 2026, that role will be played by DCG Senior Gavin Eickelberg. Twenty-eight years ago, that role was played by Scott Blum, a sophomore at Waukee High School.
